Sip, Stroll, and Unwind: Harper’s Mansion Presents ‘Wine & Roses’

Wine and Roses

Calling all wine enthusiasts and flower aficionados! Prepare to embark on a sensory journey like no other as Harpers Mansion National Trust unveils the enchanting ‘Wine and Roses’ Open Garden Event. Mark your calendars for the evening of Friday, November 10th, from 4 pm to 7 pm, because this is an experience you won’t want to miss.

Immerse yourself in the timeless elegance of over 100 heritage roses, all bursting into splendid, fragrant bloom whilst experiencing the rich terroir of the Southern Highlands as you savour the offerings of some of our region’s finest wineries.

As the sun sets and the garden blooms glow under the evening sky, prepare to be captivated by the mesmerizing performance of “Persephone – The Goddess of Spring.” Presented by the talented Melting Pot Theatre, this short play will whisk you away to a realm of myth and wonder. Be sure to take your seat at 6:30 pm for an unforgettable experience.

What’s more, your participation in this event isn’t just about indulgence; it’s about making a difference. The proceeds from ‘Wine and Roses’ will be dedicated to two noble causes: Challenge Southern Highlands, supporting our community members with disabilities, and the Regional Heritage Rose Group, committed to the preservation of historic rose varieties.

Join us at the historic Harper’s Mansion National Trust, nestled at 9 Wilkinson Street, Berrima, on Friday, November 10th, 2023, from 4 pm to 7 pm. Admission is just $10 per person, and while the garden and enchanting atmosphere are open for all, wine and culinary delights will be available for separate purchase. No need for reservations; simply arrive and let the magic unfold.

Join us in celebrating the beauty of our region, the spirit of giving, and the magic that happens when wine and roses come together.
