Berrima village features two great playgrounds for the kiddies to burn off some energy and families to relax and enjoy the fresh air.
Berrima Market Place Park
Spend some time at the recently refurbished children’s play area in Berrima Market Place Park opposite the Berrima District Museum. Featuring a climbing castle, in-ground mini trampolines, a seesaw, play-net, swings, toddler play ship and a 25m flying fox, kids of all ages are sure to have a blast! The park also features picnic tables, BBQ facilities, toilets (including accessible toilet) and plenty of easy parking.
Berrima Reserve Camping Grounds, Oxley Street, Berrima
Situated in native bush surroundings with bird and wildlife, there is plenty of space for kids to run around and explore. And for a little more activity the reserve is at the beginning of the Berrima River Walk. The playground is located on the banks of the Wingecarribee River on Oxley Street, a short five minute walk to the centre of the village. BBQ’s, picnic tables areas and toilets are within the reserve grounds.
If a little gentle activity is on your itinerary, a game of boules might just hit the spot. Berrima boasts its very own Boules Court and rustic clubhouse situated in Market Place Park, at the south end of Berrima. Join the locals every Wednesday in a friendly game or bring along your own set of boules and challenge friends & family to a spirited competition. It’s sure to be fun!
