I love owning a business which is so synonymous to the village of Berrima. I love being a daily part of the village beauty, her history and her soul. 

When we opened The Berrima General Store and Baked in Berrima we never envisaged it would become so much apart of the community. We love the smell of our freshly baked bread filling the air, the amazing people we have met and the nature on our doorstep! It is an honour to be in Berrima

Nice to be running a business in the beautiful village I grew up in. So many fond memories that make it such a personal experience.

What I love about Berrima is The Amazing History….because the village is the best example of an intact Georgian village on mainland Australia and I feel deeply connected to our colonial history. Every building tells a story.

Walking our golden retriever ‘Buddy of Berrima’ we enjoy collecting our mail at the Post Office and then a coffee at The General Store. We are spoilt with choice for dining out with excellent restaurants, café’s and the local pub and you can walk home. Berrima Village life is special.

Living and working in Berrima is the best lifestyle choice I have ever made. I feel very honoured to be apart of this very special community of locals and businesses surrounded by Australian history and exquisite countryside.

Growing up in the Southern Highlands I have fond memories of visiting Berrima; discovering treasures in the unique shops and exploring the village streets and surrounds steeped in history. As owner of Thread Botanica, I am now thrilled to be part of the Berrima community. I have met many friendly, welcoming, supportive and talented residents and business owners within the small township, making it a wonderful place to visit.
